Our Lab Produced Freshly

Poly-Fluoro Lens Coating

The coating system uses an aircraft-grade polysilicon layer to provide thermal stability, surface durability, and controlled electrostatic behavior. A fluorosilane top layer chemically bonds to the surface, creating ultra-low surface energy that repels water, reduces ice adhesion, and prevents contamination buildup. Together, these layers form a thin, high-performance coating designed for harsh aerospace operating conditions.

Application

Applying this coating to vehicle cameras improves reliability and clarity in all driving conditions. The polysilicon layer enhances thermal stability and surface durability, protecting camera lenses from heat, vibration, and environmental stress. The fluorosilane layer creates a hydrophobic surface that repels water, mud, oil, and road contaminants, ensuring a clear field of view during rain or wet conditions.

By reducing ice adhesion and contamination buildup, the coating helps camera-based systems such as ADAS, parking assist, lane-keeping, and autonomous features operate accurately and consistently. This results in improved sensor performance, reduced maintenance, and safer operation for modern vehicles.
